Another Day

Lost.
Lost in a place where she does not belong.
Searching for a place.
For somewhere, or someone.
But what comes?
Nothing, that's right, nothing.
Nothing except a beach,
a beach,
long forgotten,
without trace of a human touch,
or step,
dried to the bone,
it's dignity diminished,
like the light in the skies,
as daylight falls.
Midnights drizzle,
plasters the face,
of a girl bewildered,
misunderstood
and lost.
Lost in another day.
